We are proud to welcome Dr. Peter Thompson as a senior vet at The Manor Vets. Originally from South Africa, Peter has been practising to a high level in Kent for over 20 years.
Peter is incredibly experienced in all aspects of general veterinary medicine and has an added extra interest and vast knowledge in ophthalmology. We’re in no doubt your pets will be in the very best care with Peter leading the vet team.
Outside of the surgery Peter enjoys golf, rugby, hockey and also squeezes in looking after his own small holding!
He looks forward to meeting all of our loyal and dedicated pet owners soon!

Peter MRCVS:Veterinary Surgeon
Qualifying from the prestigious Pretoria, South Africa in 2016, Tanith joined our experienced Vet Team in 2019.
Initially practising at our UK Vet of the Year winning hospital in Kent, Tanith has broadened her client base and from 2020 can be found in our London Surgeries as well as still spending time every Thursday at our The Manor Vets in Kent.
From Tanith’s exciting time spent post qualifying in South Africa and her experience working at our busy hospital’s in London and Kent, Tanith is a highly proficient general practitioner who enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, diagnostics, eye surgery and soft tissue surgery.
Being an OV Practitioner means Tanith is readily available to give advice and issue passports/export certificates to pets wanting to travel.
Outside of the surgeries Tanith’s huge passion for small animal companions extends to her adorable rescue puppy Toto (who often tags along with her to work!). Tanith enjoys returning home to South Africa to see family and also travelling the UK visiting cities and taking in our heritage.
Qualified in 2014 from Middlesex university with a degree in Veterinary Nursing. His true passion lies in theatre, inpatient care and consults! Chris has a keen interest in animal welfare and he wants to study for a canine behaviour diploma in the near future. Outside the busy surgeries, Chris enjoys sports, gym and films. He doesn’t have a pet at the moment but he can’t wait to get a dog and possibly a horse!
Lauren has been a veterinary care assistant since 2011 when she joined The Manor Veterinary Surgery.
Lauren is responsible for keeping our Facebook page up to date as well as her other duties at the surgery and has an interest in pet health and nutrition.
Lauren has two miniature dachshunds called Nigel and Izzy and two naughty moggies called Poppy and Rey.
Lauren lives in Chatham with her husband and in her spare time enjoys reading, watching sci-fi films & Tv, crochet and spending time with family and friends.

Shannon joined The Manor Veterinary Surgery in 2012 as a veterinary care assistant and enjoys laboratory work and helping people’s pets to lose weight. Shannon hopes to begin training as a registered veterinary nurse in the near future.
Shannon lives in Chatham with her husband and has two dogs, a pug called Penny and a border terrier named Maddie. She also has two cats called Ralph and Bagpuss.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, renovating her house and spending time with her new baby Daughter Riley and her husband Chris.

Stacey started work in the Veterinary world in 1992 and she qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1999. Shortly afterwards she became Head nurse in a very busy high level orthopaedic referral practice. After 10 years she became practice manager and oversaw the entire running of the hospital. In 2018 Stacey undertook the Certificate in Practice Management and joined us at DNA in 2019.
Stacey has always had a massive passion for any size of animal from hamsters to horses! She has quite often taken pets that need a home during a day at work and has a rescue cat called Neville & a crazy staffie called Dennis.
