Head Nurse

Lauren RVN

Lauren started her career with animals at the age of 16, and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2001. She travelled for many years, using her qualifications to work with charities, including neutering clinics, bears rescued from bile farms, elephants and more!  When Lauren finally calmed her itchy feet, she became a senior nurse at a London practice, and worked there for 11 years before moving to Rochester in 2019.  At that practice she became a feline-friendly nurse with the ISFM, and developed an interest in behaviour.

Lauren was lucky enough to find Manor vets looking for an RVN and started at the practice in January 2022.

She has a passion for encouraging low stress happy visits for patients, and enjoys supporting both her patients and their human guardians.

Outside of work life Lauren loves to spend time with her family, and can often be found trying to add more enrichment ideas to the home for her cat, Rosie.
Deputy Head Nurse

Shannon

Becoming a permanent member of The Manor team in 2012, Shannon has now begun her journey to obtain a diploma in veterinary nursing. After spending many years with our team both on our reception and helping in consults and theatre, Shannon is an incredibly experienced nurse who is excited to be gaining a formal qualification in a position she loves.

Shannon took a short break in 2017 to welcome her daughter but this addition still hasn’t stopped her adding to her pet brood at home, consisting of 2 dogs and 2 cats plus feeling very maternal to the odd stray!
